VLGC Ship "Pyxis Alfa" Enters Service

On May 18, GYXIS CORPORATION (Head office: Minato, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Takayuki DOI) began operating the large refrigerated LPG carrier "PYXIS ALFA." Newly built at Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.’s Kobe Works, the ship features excellent propulsion performance and fuel efficiency, and will be chartered by GYXIS on a time charter basis from Kumiai Navigation (Pte) Ltd. Following the entry into service of the newly built "GAS WISDOM" on April 1, our LPG fleet now consists of seven vessels. By further enhancing our transportation capacity, we will respond to the increasing diversity of supply sources and further contribute to the stable supply of energy.
